Opply, a company specializing in AI-driven procurement for consumer brands, has secured $7.5 million in a new funding round. The investment was led by Chalfen Ventures, with participation from Index Ventures, Anthemis, Entrepreneurs First, In This Together, and Ventures Together.

Founded in 2021 by Helen Murphy and Martin Postel, the company developed an AI system called Brain. This software manages supply chain operations, including supplier identification, order placement, compliance verification, and payments. Brands are required to repay the company within 90 days.

The startup reports significant growth, with gross revenue increasing 15 times over a 12-month period. Operations in the United States have expanded 30 times since launching in Chicago in 2025. Clients like Agua de Madre and RMBR have reported cost reductions of 40%.

The company previously raised $4 million in a seed round in June 2022. The current funding round is smaller than those of competitors like Freehand, which raised $75 million, Didero with $30 million, and Magentic with $18 million.
