OpenAI has introduced a new interface for ChatGPT called dynamic visual explanations. Announced on March 10, 2026, the feature allows users to interact with math and science concepts directly within the chat interface.
At launch, the tool supports more than 70 topics, including the Pythagorean theorem, kinetic energy, Hooke’s law, and Coulomb’s law. Users can manipulate variables in real time and observe immediate changes.
The feature is available to all logged-in ChatGPT users without requiring a premium subscription. OpenAI intends to expand the library of interactive modules over time beyond the initial set of topics.
This update follows previous platform developments, such as the introduction of the Canvas workspace in late 2024 and the integration of third-party applications in October 2025.
