OnePlus has officially announced the launch of the OnePlus 16 smartphone, scheduled for October 12. The device will be among the first to feature the sixth-generation Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition processor, integrated with a new proprietary gaming kernel.

The device introduces a proprietary 'e-sports triple-chip' system. This includes the G3 network chip, which reduces cellular latency by 13.39% and improves Wi-Fi stability by 18.5%. The T3 touch control chip offers optimized gaming input, while the P4 display chip increases transistor count by 20% and data capacity by 25%.

The OnePlus 16 supports native 185 FPS gaming across several titles. It is the first device to offer this frame rate for games such as Peacekeeper Elite, Arena Breakout, and Naruto Mobile. Additionally, the phone has been selected as the official device for the Peacekeeper Elite professional league.
