The OnePlus 16 has officially launched in China, marking the company's first flagship release since its withdrawal from the US and European markets earlier this summer. The device is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipset, supporting up to 1TB of storage and 16GB of RAM.
A standout feature is the 9,000mAh silicon-carbon battery, which supports 100W wired and 50W wireless charging. The display is an OLED panel with a 185Hz refresh rate, capable of maintaining 165Hz across the system UI and supporting 185fps in compatible games.
The camera system includes a 200-megapixel main sensor with an f/1.4 aperture and a 1/1.4-inch size. It is accompanied by a 50-megapixel ultrawide lens and a 50-megapixel telephoto camera featuring a 1/1.95-inch sensor.
The design includes a silver finish with integrated LED lighting that displays the number 16 and galactic coordinates. These lights flash in various rhythms to provide notifications for calls, messages, and battery status.
The OnePlus 16 is currently available for purchase in China with a starting price of ¥5,699. The company has confirmed that there are no plans to release the device in the US or European markets.
