According to hardware leaker Kepler_L2, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 6060 is expected to launch significantly later than anticipated. Speculation suggests the card may not reach the performance levels of the upcoming PlayStation 6, which is reportedly targeting a late 2027 release.
While no official date exists, industry analysts project the Rubin-based RTX 60 series to arrive in 2028. Given that entry-level models typically follow flagship releases by several months, the RTX 6060 could potentially debut in 2029. These estimates remain unconfirmed by NVIDIA.
Potential delays may be linked to ongoing memory shortages. NVIDIA previously prioritized AI products using GDDR7 memory, which impacted the supply of the RTX 5090. Consequently, the current RTX 50 series lineup is expected to remain the primary market offering for an extended period.
