Nvidia is set to announce $2 billion in new AI investments across Europe this week. This initiative follows a significant expansion in 2025, during which the company participated in 14 funding rounds for European startups, totaling approximately $8 billion. Key investments included €1.7 billion in Mistral AI and £500 million in Nscale.
The company is deploying its Blackwell GPU platform across several nations. Plans include 18,000 Grace Blackwell systems for Mistral AI in France, 14,000 Blackwell GPUs in the UK with Nebius and Nscale, and 10,000 units for an industrial AI cloud in Germany. These projects aim to provide over 3,000 exaflops of compute capacity.
Nvidia has signed letters of intent to supply hardware for the EU AI Gigafactories project, which launches on July 30, 2026, and is supported by €10 billion in public funding. AMD and Qualcomm have also signed similar agreements. In June 2026, Nvidia previously announced the launch of 35 AI supercomputers across 23 European countries.
