German Chancellor Friedrich Merz and NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang signed a joint declaration in Berlin focusing on industrial AI. The initiative aims to integrate machine learning into factories, robotics, and physical production equipment, moving beyond text-based applications.
NVIDIA committed nearly $10 billion to support European companies, universities, and research institutions. The agreement formalizes and expands the existing collaboration between the company and the German government’s Industry 4.0 Platform.
The plan includes new investments in four German startups: Agile Robots, Avelios Medical, Mirelo, and Reflex Aerospace. Additionally, NVIDIA confirmed a partnership with Siemens to develop AI-driven autonomous factory solutions.
On October 19, 2026, NVIDIA shares closed at $217.09, reflecting a 1.38% increase from the previous close of $214.13. The company has maintained business ties in Germany since the early 2000s.
