NPP Gamma, a subsidiary of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, has announced a tender for the supply of foreign equipment for a microelectronics assembly and testing facility in Moscow. The contract is valued at 732.1 ₽ million, with a delivery deadline set for November 30, 2026.

The procurement includes 10 types of high-tech equipment, such as an electronic scanning system for 175 ₽ million and a 3D printer for additive manufacturing costing 120 ₽ million. Other items include precision subtractive manufacturing tools, crystal mounting units, and various radio measurement instruments for testing finished products.

The organization stated that the purchase of foreign equipment is necessary due to the absence of domestic alternatives in the Russian industrial product registry, as per Government Decree No. 1875. This follows previous procurement efforts, including a 256 ₽ million contract for Chinese SMD assembly equipment in May 2026.

The equipment is intended for the design center currently under construction in Moscow. The broader project, titled 'Reconstruction and Technical Re-equipment of the Microelectronics Design Center,' has a total contract value of 6.9 ₽ billion and is scheduled for completion by February 2027.
