Industrial AI startup Noetive has officially launched, securing $41 million in seed funding. The round was led by Eclipse Ventures, with participation from Craft Ventures Management, The Westly Group, Swish Ventures, Factory, Incite Ventures, Gigascale Capital, Operator Partners, and Liquid 2 Ventures.
The company is developing a self-improving AI model designed to manage physical operations in manufacturing, logistics, energy, and data centers. The system integrates with existing customer tools and utilizes a proprietary multimodal sensing pod to collect data from the factory floor.
Early partners include food and beverage manufacturer Steuben Foods Inc., which uses the platform to automate production planning. According to CEO Menachem Katz, the software reduced the time required for planning cycles from one week to daily operations.
Noetive was founded by Amir Frenkel, a former vice president at Meta Platforms Inc. with previous experience at Alphabet Inc. and Amazon.com Inc. The company plans to use the new capital to fund research into self-improving AI and to hire additional AI researchers and full-stack engineers.
Individual investors in the round include Meta CTO Andrew Bosworth, Airbnb CTO Ahmad Al-Dahle, and the three co-founders of Decart.AI Inc. The startup was incubated within Eclipse Ventures, which also assisted in recruiting the founding team.
