Nissan has unveiled the Sentra Spec-V Concept, a performance-oriented vehicle developed for the SEMA Show. The project marks the 35th anniversary of the Sentra SE-R model, featuring significant mechanical and aesthetic modifications.
The vehicle is powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-four engine, upgraded with new rods, pistons, 550cc injectors, and a Garrett G25-550 turbo. This configuration produces 300 horsepower, managed by a six-speed transmission and a helical limited-slip differential sourced from a Nismo Juke RS.
The chassis and braking systems have been overhauled with front shocks featuring remote reservoirs, stiffer springs, and new sway bars. The car utilizes the braking system from the GT-R Nismo, including six-piston front Brembo calipers with 15.35-inch discs and four-piston rear calipers with 15-inch discs.
The exterior features a Bomex widebody kit, a custom hood with cooling vents, and a rear wing identical to the GT-R Nismo. The car is equipped with 19-inch Nismo LM-RS1 forged wheels wrapped in Advan Neova AD09 tires, alongside custom side-exiting exhausts.
Inside, the concept includes Recaro front seats from a GT-R Nismo, a Nismo steering wheel, and a custom seatbelt harness bar. Kim Less, vice president of Aftersales and Customer Loyalty at Nissan Americas, stated the project reflects the company's engagement with its enthusiast community.
