Nissan unveiled two custom vehicles at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas to highlight its performance heritage. The company presented a track-focused Project NAT2 based on the current Z model and a Datsun S30 restomod. Both cars are one-off projects, though some components may influence future production vehicles.

The Project NAT2, developed by the Nissan Acceleration Team for SCCA Touring 2 racing, features a 3.0-liter V6 engine with 38 mm turbo restrictors. Key mechanical upgrades include a Nismo cold air intake, stainless steel exhaust, custom ECU tune, and an aluminum coolant tank. The suspension is enhanced with Nismo coilovers, new sway bars, and polyurethane bushings.

Braking for the Project NAT2 is handled by a Z1 Motorsports package featuring six-piston front calipers and 380 mm rotors. The exterior is fitted with 18-inch forged wheels, while the interior is stripped for racing, equipped with a roll cage, Sabelt seats, and a custom dashboard.

The Datsun S30 Concept was built in collaboration with Formula Drift champion Chris Forsberg. It replaces the original powertrain with a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 from the current Z, paired with a six-speed manual transmission, a twin-disc clutch, and a Nismo limited-slip differential.

The S30 restomod includes Wilwood six-piston front and four-piston rear brakes with 300 mm and 280 mm discs, respectively. The chassis features aftermarket coilovers, a new steering rack, and upgraded control arms. Exterior modifications include carbon fiber fenders and bumpers, finished in Seiran Blue paint.
