Nissan will introduce the 2027 Rogue Hybrid to the US market in November 2026. The vehicle features the E-Power system, which utilizes a turbocharged 1.5-liter engine to power a generator, while dual electric motors handle propulsion. The setup includes a 2.1-kWh battery, delivers 148 horsepower and 171 lb-ft of torque, and comes with standard all-wheel drive. The starting price for the model is $35,490.

The rollout begins this fall with the SR trim equipped with the SR Technology Package. Additional trims, including SV and Platinum, will follow in early 2027. Currently, production takes place at the Nissan Motor Kyushu plant in Japan, with exports scheduled to reach US showrooms in November. Christian Meunier, Chairman of Nissan Americas, noted that local US assembly of the Rogue Hybrid is not expected before 2028.

Nissan aims to make hybrids its primary North American powertrain by 2030. The company plans to expand its E-Power technology to the Kicks subcompact crossover and introduce new V6 hybrid pickups for both the Nissan and Infiniti brands. These efforts align with a long-term goal to increase domestic US production share to 80 percent, up from the current level of approximately 65 percent.
