Nio has reached a milestone of 150,000 deliveries for its third-generation ES8 SUV. The company achieved this figure exactly one year after the model's official launch on September 20, 2025. The final 10,000 units were delivered over a 30-day period, maintaining the previous sales pace.

The ES8 currently leads the Chinese market in the large SUV segment and the price category above ¥400,000. Between January and August 2026, the model recorded 99,893 units in cumulative sales. In August alone, Nio delivered 11,001 units of the ES8, marking the second consecutive month of exceeding the 10,000-unit threshold.

The introduction of a 5-seat version on July 9, 2026, has contributed to recent sales growth. This variant starts at ¥382,800, or ¥274,800 under the Battery as a Service rental scheme. The model also holds an NPS score of 85.3, ranking first among all-electric vehicles in a 2026 brand health study.

Large electric SUVs remain central to Nio's sales strategy. Combined deliveries of the ES8 and the premium ES9 reached 17,480 units in August, representing 82.55% of the brand's total volume. The ES8 alone accounted for 62.21% of Nio brand deliveries during the first eight months of the year.
