Ninebot has launched the Mz3 FlashRider, an electric two-wheeler currently available in China for ¥6 300, which is approximately $940. The vehicle is officially certified under the latest national standards for electric bicycles, which limits its top speed to 25 km/h.

The model features a rigid frame and rear shock absorbers with five adjustable stiffness levels. It rolls on 12-inch wheels and includes a tire pressure monitoring system as standard equipment. The braking system consists of a 220 mm front disc with four-piston calipers and a 200 mm rear disc, supported by a dual-channel ABS.

The Mz3 FlashRider is powered by a 400 W electric motor integrated into the rear wheel. It uses a 48 V, 12 Ah lead-acid battery with a capacity of 576 Wh. While the theoretical range is 35 km, the manufacturer notes that the actual range in real-world conditions is approximately 16.5 km.

The vehicle includes a 5-inch color dashboard capable of displaying navigation, managing phone calls, and controlling music playback. An integrated audio system is also included in the base configuration of the electric bike.
