The NFQWS2 project update, Build 99, introduces a device-specific strategy management system for ASUS and OpenWrt routers. Users can assign distinct traffic strategies to individual devices based on their IP or MAC addresses, with the ability to manage up to four additional strategies alongside a general configuration.
The integrated DPI Detector tool allows users to perform tests on DNS, websites, and CDN availability. Results are saved in text reports that include the NFQWS2 mode, service status, and configuration fingerprints. Testing on an ASUS GT-BE19000AI router in the Tula region on November 5, 2026, demonstrated varying performance across TCP, HTTP, TLS, and QUIC protocols.
The interface supports importing strategies from Keenetic, as well as loading custom JSON resources and profiles from a signed catalog. Optional add-ons, such as Riot for web domains or specific HTTPS rules for torrent sites, can be enabled. The system also facilitates the setup of MTProxy for ASUS via Entware, Linux, or Docker environments.
Build 99 includes automated update mechanisms that preserve user settings and configuration files. In case of errors, the system can revert to a previous stable version. The service features a restart timer and recovery attempts, while ASUS routers benefit from an additional check for unreachable IP addresses.
