The Neo1 humanoid robot, developed by NeodraDynamics Robotics, was unveiled at the CIIF 2026 industrial exhibition in partnership with JD Industrial. The machine stands approximately 4 meters tall and is designed for heavy-duty industrial applications. Its architecture features 41 active degrees of freedom, utilizing a combination of proprietary hydraulic actuators and electric motors.

The robot’s 39 joints are powered by custom hydraulic modules, each weighing about 1 kg and capable of generating constant force in the range of several tons. Two additional rotational joints in the forearms are equipped with electric motors. According to the manufacturer, the combined lifting capacity of the robot's arms reaches 500 kg, while maintaining a positioning repeatability of 5 micrometers.

NeodraDynamics suggests that Neo1 is suitable for tasks in ports, mines, underwater engineering, and emergency response operations. The robot can perform assembly, equipment maintenance, and debris removal. Furthermore, the company plans to offer radiation-resistant hydraulic modules for nuclear facility maintenance and the handling of nuclear fuel.

NeodraDynamics was established by specialists associated with Tsinghua University. Founder Yang Tao stated that the company aims to develop robotic systems capable of performing tasks that exceed human physical limitations.
