Zurich-based Namespace Labs Inc. secured $42 million in a Series B funding round led by Scale Venture Partners. Participants included NEA, 20VC, Essence, Burst Capital, and Susa Ventures. This investment follows a Series A round completed seven months ago, bringing the company's total funding to $65 million.
Founded in 2022 by former Google engineer Hugo Santos, Namespace provides a specialized compute stack designed for AI agents, container builds, and testing. The platform is built for ephemeral storage with high-speed networking and cache support, aiming to address the high compute demands of modern software development cycles.
The company plans to use the new capital to expand its data centers and increase its fleet of Mac hardware. Namespace supports build and test environments across Mac, Windows, and Linux. Its infrastructure currently handles up to 12 virtual CPUs and 56 gigabytes of memory, with support for multiple macOS versions including Sonoma, Sequoia, Tahoe, and Golden Gate.
