MTS reported that its service for the hearing impaired, 'Secretary for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing,' facilitated approximately 500,000 calls during its first six months of operation. Between March and August 2026, the platform processed over 496,000 incoming voice calls, enabling users to communicate with family, banks, and delivery services.

The typical user of the service is a male aged 35–44 residing in Moscow or a major regional center. Data shows that 19% of all calls originate from Moscow and the Moscow region, followed by Yekaterinburg at 9% and Krasnodar at 7%.

The service is available free of charge to all MTS subscribers. It functions by converting incoming voice calls into text in real time, while the user's written responses are converted into speech for the caller. This technology aims to remove communication barriers for users with hearing impairments.
