Beijing-based Moonshot AI launched its Kimi Financial Industry AI Solution on September 17. The tool is designed for banks, asset managers, and venture capital firms, integrating a large language model with over ten major financial data providers, including Wind, East Money, S&P Global, Caixin Data, and Cailian Press.
The platform includes nine specialized financial functions, such as institutional modeling, IPO analysis, and portfolio reviews. Moonshot claims the tool reduces financial modeling time from five to seven days to half a day or one full day, while deep research projects are shortened from ten to twenty days to approximately two days.
The initial customer base consists of dozens of institutions. Early adopters include ICBC, CSC Financial, E Fund, Sequoia China, and ZhenFund. The company emphasizes that the solution focuses on regulated financial workflows and does not support digital assets or tokens.
