Microsoft has officially launched its redesigned Copilot application, which integrates chat, coding tools, and AI agents into a single interface. The platform features three main tabs: Home, Code, and Autopilot, designed to streamline professional workflows and organizational productivity.

The Home tab serves as the central hub for recent activity and personalized dashboards. The Code tab, built on GitHub Copilot technology, enables users to create and share internal cloud applications within a secure sandbox environment.

Autopilot, formerly known as Scout, functions as a cloud-based digital colleague. It operates independently of the user's active session, handling tasks such as monitoring Teams channels and managing follow-up actions from meetings.

The company is introducing a consumption-based pricing model for advanced features like Code and Autopilot. Standard Copilot subscriptions remain available, while IT administrators can manage costs through the new Microsoft FinOps for AI tool.

Early access to the Home and Code tabs will be available to Microsoft Frontier participants in the coming weeks. Autopilot enters private testing later this month, with broader availability for Microsoft 365 Premium and Pro subscribers expected by the end of the year.
