Microsoft has released new preview builds for Windows 11, specifically targeting members of the Beta and Experimental channels. The Experimental channel received builds 26340.9843, 28120.3393, and 29698.1000. These updates introduce significant enhancements to the Windows search experience, allowing users to perform various tasks directly from the search interface.

The updated search functionality now includes inline sliders for adjusting system volume, screen brightness, and cursor size. Users can also interact with connected Android devices via Phone Link to send messages or make calls, with iPhone support scheduled for early next year. Additionally, the search tool now provides file previews, weather updates, stock information, and direct access to Microsoft Store applications.

New filtering options allow users to categorize search results by files, settings, or actions. Microsoft has also introduced feedback controls, enabling users to rate search results or remove unwanted items. The search bar is currently positioned at the bottom center, with further development underway to support different taskbar configurations and integration with the Start menu.

For enterprise customers, Microsoft has launched a new Intune policy. This feature ensures that all feedback submitted through the Feedback Hub remains private within the organization. Such data will not be shared with external users or published in public communities, remaining accessible only to Microsoft and members of the same tenant.
