Meta released ten research papers developed using its Muse AI platform. The system utilizes multi-agent models to automate research preparation, including cohort identification, statistical analysis, literature retrieval, and drafting.
The research relies on electronic health records from 4.95 million patients, sourced from a June 2026 dataset. Human experts supervised the entire process to ensure accuracy across all ten studies.
One study focused on the rare fungal pathogen Cladophialophora bantiana, identifying 21 infection cases. Among seven patients with brain infections, two fatalities were recorded.
Another study analyzed breast cancer patients treated with antibody-drug conjugates SG and T-DXd. The median interval between treatments was 63 days when SG followed T-DXd, and 49 days in the reverse sequence.
