These tools utilize AI models that generate game content based on user prompts. Currently, both applications are available through an early access program.
The company aims to boost user engagement by integrating these games directly into Facebook and Instagram feeds. Users can launch multiplayer sessions instantly from a video clip without needing to download separate applications or navigate to external links.
Meta plans to prioritize games that demonstrate high stability, cultural relevance, and strong player retention in its recommendation algorithms. This initiative follows similar moves by Roblox, which has already implemented AI-powered text-to-game generation features in its mobile app.
