Siggy, a mental health startup, has secured $6 million in pre-seed funding. The round was led by Village Global, with participation from Union Square Ventures, PsyMed Ventures, Mystic Ventures, Coalition Operators, and individual investors including Immad Akhund and Gokul Rajaram.

The company was founded by Jonathan Sabbagh and Edvard Engesæth, who previously co-founded Journey Clinical and Nurx, respectively. The startup began operations in late 2025 and is currently accepting paying patients ahead of its public launch.

Siggy utilizes AI to track patient progress and collect medical histories between appointments with licensed clinicians. The platform integrates with wearable devices like Whoop, Oura, and Apple Watch to generate a daily Siggy Score based on sleep, mood, and activity data.

The platform is designed to facilitate communication between patients and clinicians, allowing for medication adjustments and symptom monitoring. It does not provide crisis services or prescribe controlled substances.

The startup accepts commercial insurance across all 50 U.S. states and is expanding into government insurance programs. The service is provided free of charge to veterans.
