MegaFon has upgraded its telecommunications infrastructure in the settlement of Yaya, Kemerovo Region. The operator installed new equipment to improve voice call quality and data transmission stability for a population of approximately 8,000 people.
The network expansion covers several streets, including Vesennyaya, Mekhanicheskaya, Traktovaya, Michurina, and Yubileynaya. Following the technical upgrades, data transmission speeds in these areas have reached 170 Mbps.
According to Ivan Voronin, head of the technical department for MegaFon in the Kemerovo Region, the upgrade was prioritized due to the settlement's role as a municipal center and its location on the Trans-Siberian Railway.
