MegaFon has expanded its 4G network coverage in the Chita district of the Zabaykalsky Krai. The operator installed new telecommunications equipment in the village of Yablonovo, enabling data transfer speeds of up to 100 Mbit/s. The new infrastructure utilizes multiple frequency bands to ensure both signal stability and high-speed internet access.

In addition to Yablonovo, the company upgraded existing base stations in the settlements of Domna, Novaya Kuka, Smolenka, Tankha, and Shishkino. Improvements also reached the Kvartz, Glubokoye, and Nikishikha gardening associations, where additional LTE layers were activated to increase network capacity.

According to Maria Krylova, director of MegaFon in the Zabaykalsky Krai, the company continuously monitors network traffic to address growing demand. Since the beginning of 2026, engineers have completed approximately 70 infrastructure projects across the region, including the installation of new stations in the Aginsky, Kyrinsky, Duldurginsky, and Khiloksky districts.
