MegaFon has completed a major upgrade of its telecommunications infrastructure in the northwestern part of the Krasnodar Territory. The project focused on expanding the 4G network coverage and enhancing network capacity to handle high traffic loads in the Temryuk district.
The updated network now covers the city of Temryuk, the village of Taman, as well as the settlements of Volna, Krasnoarmeets, and Priazovsky. The operator deployed equipment supporting mid- and high-frequency LTE bands to ensure stable connectivity for a large number of simultaneous users.
The network modernization reached a peak mobile internet speed of 100 Mbps. The infrastructure improvements were specifically targeted at residential areas, hotels, popular tourist beaches, and major highways to support both local residents and the growing number of visitors.
The Temryuk district has seen a 10% increase in tourist traffic during the first half of 2026 compared to the same period last year. Notably, the number of tourists arriving from Moscow and Saint Petersburg grew by 16%.
