MegaFon has successfully completed the initial testing phase for the Wewins C150 5G router. The device was adapted for the Russian market by SoftMaster, which adjusted its radio frequency parameters to meet the operator's specific requirements and localized the interface into Russian.

The testing took place at MegaFon's equipment research and testing center. Engineers evaluated data transmission speeds, carrier aggregation performance, and 5G band support. The device demonstrated stable connectivity by switching between communication technologies without dropping the connection.

The Wewins C150 router functions by receiving signals from base stations and distributing internet access via Wi-Fi or Ethernet cables. This allows non-5G devices, such as computers and televisions, to connect to the mobile network. The results have been shared with developers for further refinement.
