Elena Bulay has been appointed as the new director of MegaFon in the Komi Republic. She brings 22 years of experience within the company to her new role, having previously led the operator's business division in the Novgorod region starting in 2008.

The new director is tasked with developing telecommunications infrastructure, expanding the subscriber base, and strengthening partnerships with local industrial enterprises. Her background includes extensive work with large corporations, specifically in providing fixed-line connectivity to remote production sites and implementing information security solutions.

The Komi Republic is a key industrial hub, with mining and forestry sectors accounting for a significant portion of its regional product. Given the remote location of many production facilities and the challenging northern climate, the company plans to continue its efforts in building and modernizing communication networks across both urban and rural areas.
