MediaTek has officially launched the Dimensity CX series, a new family of system-on-chips specifically engineered for personal computing devices. The company confirmed a strategic partnership with Google, positioning these platforms as a core component for upcoming Googlebook laptops alongside existing Intel Core Ultra Series 3 and Snapdragon X Elite solutions.

The flagship Dimensity CX C10 Max features an eight-core CPU architecture, including one Cortex-X925 core, three Cortex-X4 cores, and four Cortex-A720 cores. The processor reaches clock speeds of up to 3.73 GHz. The chip is equipped with 12 MB of L3 cache, 10 MB of SLC cache, and integrates the Immortalis-G925 MC11 graphics unit.

The platform is manufactured using a 3 nm process and includes the NPU 890, which delivers a performance of 55 TOPS. Additional technical specifications include support for 32-megapixel camera sensors, UFS 4.0 storage standards, and LPDDR5X-9600 memory modules. The chip is currently the only model in the new Dimensity CX lineup.
