Mazda is restructuring its mid-size SUV lineup for 2027 by discontinuing the CX-70 model. The vehicle will be integrated into the CX-90 range, which now offers both two-row and three-row configurations.
The two-row version of the CX-90 is available in 3.3 Turbo Premium Sport and 3.3 Turbo S Premium Sport trims. Prices for these models start at $48,525 and $55,185 respectively, including destination charges.
Technical updates for the 2027 CX-90 include a revised rear suspension crossmember and updated bushings. The lineup retains the 3.3-liter turbocharged inline-six engine with a 48-volt mild-hybrid system and an eight-speed automatic transmission.
The plug-in hybrid variant remains available, featuring a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine and a 17.8-kilowatt-hour battery. It delivers 323 horsepower and provides an electric-only range of up to 27 miles.
Standard equipment across the 2027 range has been expanded. Depending on the trim, vehicles now include features such as roof rails, Alexa Built-In, and Mazda Online Navigation with over-the-air updates.
