Great Wall Motor has unveiled the second-generation Wey Lanshan, built on the Guiyuan S platform. The vehicle is scheduled for market release within this year. It features a boxy design, departing from the streamlined aesthetic of the previous model, and is offered in both five-seat and six-seat configurations.
The five-seat model measures 5140x2050x1960 mm, while the six-seat version extends the length to 5300 mm. Both variants share a 3010 mm wheelbase. The extra 160 mm in the six-seat version is allocated to the third-row seating area and trunk capacity. Exterior features include a roof-mounted LiDAR, electric side steps, and a rear-mounted spare tire.
The powertrain consists of a 2.0T engine producing 182 kW, paired with a dual-motor system providing 110 kW at the front and 220 kW at the rear, managed by a 4-speed hybrid transmission. The vehicle offers two battery options: 53.6 kWh and 64.7 kWh, delivering WLTC pure electric ranges of 220 km and 270 km, respectively.
Performance metrics vary by battery size: the 53.6 kWh version reaches a top speed of 205 km/h, while the 64.7 kWh version hits 210 km/h. The chassis is equipped with dual-chamber air suspension, which allows for adjustments to ride height and stiffness, along with a mechanical rear axle differential lock.
