Matter Labs has officially launched Prividium Commander, a control plane designed to assist banks and financial institutions in managing digital asset operations. The product became generally available on October 21, 2026, and is built to integrate with existing institutional identity and custody systems rather than replace them.
The platform centralizes key operational functions, including token issuance, permissions management, compliance workflows, policy enforcement, and data integration. It operates on top of the existing Prividium platform, which utilizes ZK Stack technology for private transaction execution and supports deployment on infrastructures like Hyperledger Besu and Prividium Ledger.
The company has achieved a SOC 2 Type I examination as of May 29, 2026, and open-sourced Prividium Core in September 2026. Deutsche Bundesbank is currently testing the core technology, while partnerships with Cari Network and NexBridge are focused on exploring tokenized deposits and other institutional use cases.
CEO Alex Gluchowski confirmed that revenue generated from Prividium Commander flows directly to Matter Labs. Consequently, institutional adoption of this new control plane does not provide direct financial benefits to ZKsync tokenholders.
