Dolomite has integrated $100 million in BTCcx as collateral within its lending and borrowing markets. BTCcx is a custody-native version of Bitcoin developed by Concrete, which maintains a 1:1 backing with assets held at BitGo.
The integration, announced on October 19, 2026, allows institutional Bitcoin to serve as collateral without leaving BitGo’s qualified custody. The system utilizes Concrete’s AssetCX architecture to issue ERC-4626 vault shares on Ethereum.
The mechanism features specific limitations: only Concrete is authorized to borrow against BTCcx collateral. Furthermore, liquidations are processed through offchain custody settlement instead of standard onchain sales.
This initiative follows a partnership between Concrete and BitGo established in June 2026. It expands on a previous integration involving the institutional asset WLFIcx, utilizing the same AssetCX model for custody-native yield strategies.
