M.Video analyzed user requests submitted to its 'M.Video fulfills wishes' project, which ran from October 1 to October 10, 2026. The company compiled a ranking of consumer electronics based on the frequency of mentions in stories shared via a Telegram chatbot.
Smartphones and iPhones topped the list with 385 mentions. Laptops followed in second place with 288 mentions, while computers and gaming PCs ranked third with 185 mentions. These top three categories accounted for a total of 858 requests.
Televisions secured fourth place with 90 mentions, followed by vacuum cleaners with 73. Gaming consoles and refrigerators each received 59 mentions, while tablets were mentioned 52 times. The list also included coffee machines, washing machines, air fryers, and dishwashers.
The company noted that the data reflects the preferences of project participants rather than a representative study of the entire Russian population. The project aimed to identify the types of technology users most frequently associate with their personal goals and needs.
