Lola Vision Systems is developing the LVS-250, an edge AI processor designed for the defense, aerospace, and automotive sectors. The chip utilizes a modular design consisting of five chiplets connected via the UCIe 2.0 standard. It also features integrated radio-frequency capabilities and hardware-level post-quantum cryptography.

The processor delivers 230 TOPS at INT8 precision while consuming less than 25W of power. In comparison, the Nvidia Orin platform provides similar performance but requires over 60W. The LVS-250 will be manufactured in the US using the GlobalFoundries 12LP+ process node to ensure ITAR compliance.

Founded in 2023 or 2024, the startup is led by CEO Tayo Adesanya and co-founders Randy Hollines and Jordan Page. The company currently employs eight to nine people and operates in the Washington, DC and Los Angeles areas.

The firm has secured between $720,000 and $1.09 million in funding from venture capital, grants, and accelerators. The LVS-250 is scheduled for release in 2027. Future growth depends on securing larger financing rounds or defense contracts to move from development to production.
