LinkedIn is expanding its platform features to support content creators and side-hustle professionals. The company is introducing a dedicated creator dashboard, which allows users to track content performance, identify growth opportunities, and explore monetization strategies.
Video creators can now earn revenue through pre-roll advertising on native content, provided they meet specific eligibility criteria. Additionally, the platform is rolling out a feature that enables users to offer one-on-one paid consultations directly from their personal profiles.
The platform is also enhancing networking tools for its members. Users can create personalized digital business cards for mobile wallets, while premium subscribers gain access to private profile notes for tracking contact details. These updates aim to improve professional relationship management.
LinkedIn is currently testing a new 'Network' feed in the United States, India, the United Kingdom, and Australia. This feed limits content to direct connections and followed accounts to reduce algorithmic interference. Furthermore, users can now pin comments to improve discussion quality.
