The technical education organization Librería de Satoshi has rebranded to ISMOS and launched a new global platform. The initiative aims to train one million Bitcoin and open-source developers worldwide by establishing local hubs and delivering educational programs in various languages.
Since its inception in 2021, the organization has reached over 3,665 individuals across more than 40 countries and provided financial support to 30 open-source developers. The platform currently offers instruction in Spanish, Portuguese, and English, with plans to expand its linguistic reach.
The curriculum covers Bitcoin, cryptography, cybersecurity, mathematics, AI, Nostr, and open-source software. ISMOS provides mentorship, fellowships, and developer residencies, including the B4OS program. The platform is open source, and its tools are accessible via GitHub.
ISMOS is currently supported by Btrust and the Human Rights Foundation. Previous contributors include OpenSats and the Gemini Opportunity Fund. The organization originated in Latin America and now operates as a global entity focused on technical career development.
