Li Auto has submitted a new application for the L9 Livis model to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. The updated vehicle features a battery pack manufactured by the company's subsidiary, Jiangsu Li Auto Battery Co., Ltd., replacing the previous supplier.

The L9 Livis is a plug-in hybrid SUV with a length of 5255 mm, a width of 2000 mm, and a height of 1810 mm. It has a wheelbase of 3125 mm and a seating capacity of 6 passengers. The vehicle is powered by a 1.5L range extender with a power output of 115 kW, allowing for a top speed of 200 km/h.

Fuel consumption for the model varies by curb weight, ranging from 0.23L to 0.27L per 100 km under the WLTC standard. The vehicle meets China VI emission standards and comes equipped with an Event Data Recorder (EDR) as standard across the entire lineup.

Optional configurations for the L9 Livis include electric retractable pedals, towing equipment with a capacity of 1500 kg, and various aesthetic upgrades like dual-tone paint. The vehicle supports 21-inch and 22-inch tire specifications and offers optional LiDAR sensors.

Li Auto recently confirmed that its proprietary batteries are already integrated into the L8, L6, and i8 models. The company plans to expand this to its entire vehicle range. Starting in 2026, Li Auto will implement a dual-battery strategy using both its own brand and CATL batteries.
