Lexus has officially launched the updated LS flagship sedan in Japan. The vehicle features a 3.5-liter gasoline engine paired with an electric motor, delivering a total output of 354 horsepower. Customers can choose between rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive configurations for the hybrid LS500h model.
Engineers have implemented several technical enhancements to improve ride quality and handling. These include increased body rigidity and a reinforced rear suspension designed to minimize high-frequency vibrations. Additionally, the adaptive suspension and electric power steering have been recalibrated to reduce body roll.
The updated sedan now offers a panoramic roof with a mesh deflector aimed at reducing wind noise across all trim levels. For the top-tier Executive version, the manufacturer has expanded the available interior trim options. Prices for the refreshed model range from ¥14.14 million to ¥18.05 million.
