Lenta Group has migrated its IT asset management (ITAM) to the SimpleOne platform, developed by ITG. The implementation was carried out by the integrator Media-tel and covers 1,500 retail locations and over 200,000 assets.
Prior to this project, the retailer utilized the OmniTracker system. The transition to the Russian platform was driven by the need for internal development capabilities by Lenta Tech, as well as requirements for customization, integration, and cost-efficiency.
The new system automates 11 stages of the asset lifecycle, including procurement, booking, and disposal. It manages hardware, software licenses, consumables, and related documentation, integrating with barcode scanning equipment for inventory tracking.
The project was executed in parallel with the company's transition to the SimpleOne ITSM system. This allowed for the seamless integration of asset registries with CMDB and ITSM processes, maintaining the existing role-based access model and data archives.
