The BI.Zone PAM platform has been updated to version 2.7, introducing new features for password management and infrastructure access. Administrators can now configure automated password rotation schedules, including specific dates, periodic intervals, and custom blacklists or whitelists for execution times.
The system supports automated password management for Active Directory, Linux clusters, Oracle, PostgreSQL, and Platform V Pangolin DB. Organizations can also integrate custom scripts for rotation, with the platform verifying script integrity via hash checks before execution to ensure security.
New ad-hoc connection capabilities allow users to access resources by IP or FQDN without prior registration, provided the addresses fall within administrator-defined ranges. This feature simplifies management for dynamic infrastructure environments.
Access control has been refined, ensuring users only view objects and policies relevant to their permissions. Furthermore, deleted entities are now retained in the database with a 'deleted' status to preserve audit trails, preventing data loss during incident investigations.
