Land Rover has introduced an optional Spare Wheel Removal Kit for the Defender 90 in Europe. This modification aims to improve rear visibility and maneuverability in tight parking spaces while reducing the weight of the rear door.

The removal of the spare wheel does not involve a redesigned tailgate, meaning mounting points remain visible. Despite the change, the vehicle retains compatibility with standard bicycle carriers.

Alongside this option, the company launched the Alasia Pack for the Defender 90, 110, and 130 models. This package features Cyprus Copper accents on the grille, side vents, and lettering.

Looking toward future expansion, Land Rover is reportedly considering a pickup truck model for the North American market. Additionally, a smaller Defender Sport is expected, potentially featuring hybrid and electric powertrains, with a full-size electric Defender anticipated in the 2030s.
