K2T has released version 26 of its Briz communication platform. The update shifts key features like scalability, fault tolerance, and management from custom project-based tasks into the platform's standard functionality.
The new version introduces a native mobile application for iOS and Android, alongside an AI-powered service that transcribes meetings and automatically generates meeting minutes.
Briz 26 features a service-oriented architecture where the server side is divided into distinct components. This design allows for flexible scaling and independent updates without requiring additional server licenses.
The platform now supports multi-tenant environments within a single installation. Organizations can manage separate settings, access policies, and address books for different entities, making it suitable for large holdings.
Licensing is based on the number of concurrent connections. Users can scale infrastructure and add services without extra licensing costs, and temporary capacity increases are available for peak loads.
