Industrial technology firm Körber has acquired a stake in the German software startup NAiSE. This move transforms their existing collaboration into a strategic partnership aimed at scaling NAiSE's operations internationally while maintaining its independence.
Founded in 2017, NAiSE has operated as a self-funded company until this investment. The startup specializes in vendor-agnostic fleet management software, which allows for the orchestration of automated guided vehicles, autonomous mobile robots, and manually operated industrial trucks on a single control layer.
The platform functions independently of specific warehouse management or execution systems. By integrating their technologies, Körber and NAiSE intend to develop new intralogistics use cases, including the deployment of humanoid robotics in warehouse environments.
NAiSE will continue to operate under its founding team, which includes Kai Przybysz-Herz, Robert Libert, and Raphael Kusumoto. The company remains open to collaborations with other system integrators and vehicle manufacturers to support its growth model.
