Information Services Group (ISG), a technology advisory firm listed on Nasdaq under the ticker III, reported that artificial intelligence services now generate more than half of its total revenue. The company achieved this milestone earlier than initially projected.
AI-related sales increased by 56% year over year, reaching nearly $34 million. This figure places AI advisory services ahead of the firm's traditional business segments, such as IT benchmarking and contract management.
The company's total revenue is estimated to be between $65 million and $68 million. ISG has been transitioning toward an AI-focused consulting model for the past two to three years, having actively developed its AI practice since at least 2022.
ISG operates as a neutral adviser, avoiding software development or cloud capacity sales to maintain objectivity. Its offerings include the ISG Tango platform, which focuses on cost optimization and contract intelligence for enterprise clients.
Founded in 2006 by Michael Connors and David Berger, the Stamford-based firm provides insights into how large corporations manage AI budgets. While this shift offers exposure to corporate AI spending, it also increases the company's sensitivity to potential fluctuations in enterprise demand for AI services.
