Israeli startup 42AI has officially launched, announcing $62.5 million in seed funding raised over three years from its founders and Infinity Group. The company plans to secure additional capital in the future to support its growth.
The startup has developed a behavioral world model that uses transformer-based technology to predict individual trader actions during market volatility. The system processes data from psychometric profiles, account activity, and sentiment analysis to estimate the probability of specific trading choices.
Currently, 42AI serves ten large brokerages, generating seven-figure revenue. One client reportedly gained $30 million in additional value through dynamic hedging using the platform. The company claims 98% accuracy in predicting whether trading flows fall within a projected range.
The underlying model, which incorporates an 8 billion-parameter version of Meta's Llama 3.1, was developed over three years using datasets covering 30 million people. The firm is now exploring applications in cybersecurity, fraud prevention, and gaming.
