Developer JiangLingXiaCao successfully ported iOS 17 to the Xiaomi Redmi K90 Pro Max smartphone. The project has already achieved support for several hardware components, including GPU rendering, multi-core CPU task scheduling, 120 Hz display output, and USB data transfer.
The source code for the port will be released in the UniXNU repository to facilitate community collaboration. Future development goals include enabling Wi-Fi, display brightness control, and support for installing IPA application files.
The team is also exploring the creation of a custom server environment to expand system functionality. However, the port remains in an early stage, with ongoing issues regarding camera functionality, physical buttons, cellular connectivity, and audio output.
