Intel is reportedly planning to standardize the naming convention for its upcoming Nova Lake processor lineup. According to recent leaks, both mobile and desktop variants will adopt a four-digit numerical format.
The new naming scheme will apply to the H-series and standard mobile chips, aligning them with the HX variants. This approach aims to improve product identification and create a more cohesive family branding across the entire generation.
Industry observers note that this transition to four-digit identifiers may lead to confusion with Intel's older fourth-generation Core i processors. Despite the potential for overlap, the company intends to maintain this structure for the Nova Lake series.
