The HWiNFO monitoring tool has added support for a new Intel chip identified as Panther Lake-H 080. According to industry leaks, this component is designed for the Arc G-series handheld platform.

The PTL-080 chip features a 0+8+0+4 configuration, which implies a structure of eight E-cores and a four-core Xe3 GPU, with no P-cores or LPE cores included in the design.

This new hardware variant appears to be a smaller alternative to the existing Arc G3 and Arc G3 Extreme chips, which utilize a 14-core 2+8+4 CPU architecture and 10 to 12 Xe3 cores.

Earlier reports suggested a different entry-level design with a 4+0+4+4 layout and a power target between 8 W and 25 W. Current information indicates that the 0+8+0+4 design might replace this version.

Intel has not provided official details regarding the specifications, including clock speeds, power limits, or product naming. The four-core Xe3 GPU suggests the chip is intended for lower-cost devices.
